Hi Liz, what a neat suggestion to get more of ‘the wealth of knowledge’, or exposure to it for those who might need it most, maybe even this week.
(I just realized that I have been responding to your weekly ‘Hacks’, without noticing it says “do not reply”. My bad. I can’t seem to find all the responses I sent in this improper manner, but I’ll keep looking. BTW, how’s the ‘search‘ going?)
Instead of sharing with three other people; since I do this almost weekly, I would like to share the following with you. If I have previously shared any of these with you, please forgive my lapse in recall.
First here’s three books I recommend for anyone’s general reading who is interested in truly unique management approaches/styles/techniques:
1. ‘Kiss Theory Goodbye’ by Robert Prosen.
2. ‘Art’s Principles’ (50 Years of Hard-Learned lessons in Building a World-Class professional Services Firm), by Arthur Gensler, with Michael Lindenmayer.
3. ‘The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork’ (Embrace Them and Empower Your Team), by John Maxwell.
Next, here’s three blogs I think you’ll enjoy. I’ll email you these blogs.
1. ‘Confessions of a Recovering Procrastinator’, by Mark LePage, AIA
2. ‘A Simple Phrase….’, by David Dye
3. ‘Thinking Like a Next Decade Leader’, by Alaina Love
I would be interested in your thoughts about any, or all, of these readings.
Have a great week.
Regards,
Steve
Fantastic reading suggestions, Steve. I’ve read ‘Art’s Principles’ and it is fantastic. “The 17 Indisputable Laws of Teamwork’ has been on my to-read list but I haven’t gotten to it yet; I need to move that one up the list. I have now added ‘Kiss Theory Goodbye’ to my list; it looks like an interesting read. All three blogs provided excellent food for thought!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
