Hi Liz, this week’s Hack (#8) reminded me of a phrase firat used by Tom Peters (author & motivational speaker), it what he called, “MBWA”, or management by wandering around.
All too often firm leaders ‘lock themselves away’ in their corner offices and expect their staff to ‘thrive’ and deliver. I refer to those firm leaders as the ‘PPP’, the Peter Principle Principals’.
